Just passed the team buses on the inbound Kennedy with a full-on police escort to the UC. I wonder how many Hawks "fans" will be at the parade who have never actually set foot in the UC. :drunk:

Judging by my commute in to work via train and the pic I took from the roof of my building I would say a few...

Now THAT is fvcking awesome!!! As is the location of your office, great view!!

Ha, I fvcking wish that was my office view! Security were cool and opened up a portion of the roof of one building so people could watch the parade. It was pretty cool though I couldn't make out much with the distance.

On the train on the way in a guy was standing by me pounding a tall boy of Old Style.... I can think of a few better things to be drinking at a quarter after 7 in the morning!

Great shot. Watched the rally live streaming and there were A LOT of people out there. Awesome for the Hawks and awesome for the city.

EDIT: The best part was Crow dropping 3 F bombs in about 10 seconds or less. Hahahaha

I can attest to the massive amount of people. I heard a bunch of yelling and looked out my window to see this...

Despite the headache of a commute it's pretty cool to see.

Very cool I've been to 4 different championship parades in Boston (2 red Sox. 1 Bruins, 1 Pats). Something special to see a whole city show up to support your team.

Nicely done. And I'm way jealous of the view from your office building.

Thanks for sharing.

They put that in a full page in one of the Boston Newspapers. I wanna hate you pricks, but right now I can't...:rockin:

I'm working on it :D

I saw that "letter" in the Globe this morning. Definitely a classy thing to do, almost makes up for the "Chicago Stronger" eff-tards...

Cheers! And wait'll next year! ;)

I still say your view is better than mine, buddy....

I have to stare at that abomination every time I look downtown from work. I hope beyond hope that I get to see it collapse again. And yes, when they rebuild, some Bears trinkets will surely find their way into the grounds. ;)

That almost brought a tear to my eye. For real. All sh¡t talking aside, there are not two more classy teams in all of sports and we could all go the rest of our lives without seeing another such amazing Finals matchup. Or two better organizations facing each other for a championship in any sport. Thanks for posting that. :mug:

I agree. It's so much fun rooting for the bruins and i am sure it would be with the hawks...I got the chills when I saw this. Both orgs just get it now..it took a while but there isn't one team, outside of the 2001-2004 patriots, I had more fun rooting for...well done Chicago. AGAIN

Nathan Horton doesn't want to come back to Boston. Weird right? I don't think he likes the spotlight of Boston...what else could it be???

Haha, that is definitely not the most photogenic thing to be looking at! Good idea on the Bears stuff, perhaps you can invoke some voodoo on it and curse Adrian Peterson... :mug:

Horton, jagr and ference gone. Good chance they are trading off seguin. Hopefully vinny decides to come to Boston, we need someone who can fill hortys shoes.

Horton isn't quite gone yet, he's there for the taking.
Bring lots o' money...

Cheers!

I say let the man go, he's paid his dues. He wants a fresh start for whatever reason, he doesn't want to be in Boston, buying him won't change that.

Boston sports have a tendency to try to keep players longer than the players want to stay. Manny for example, he stopped wanting to be there ages before we stopped wanting him, and it showed.

I may have missed the whole "doesn't want to be in Boston" thing. What did you read? Just because someone decides to test free agency (which pretty nearly anyone who has actual talent does these days) isn't in itself a declaration of unhappiness...

Cheers!

Doesn't say he doesn't WANT to be there directly, but it says that he wants a fresh start, basically he and his agents aren't really willing to deal with the Bruins.

And I dont think he is necessarily unhappy either. I just think he wants to go be some teams god, rather than be a spoke in the wheel. Can't blame him for wanting to show off some, Boston isn't the place for that though

They should just give Seguin to Toronto. Maybe for a 7th round draft pick.

Horton is far more instrumental than even his stats make him seem. He really does seriously improve anyone who plays with him. I can almost guarantee that the production of Krejci and Lucic will be significantly hurt by his departure. With regards to value, I really think Horton is the one player who Boston would be stupid to let go without trying really hard to keep him.
