Looks like I'm the token Devils fan on here. Funny because I'm in between Philly and Pittsburgh. Been a fan since they battled it out with Pittsburgh for the basement in the mid 80's. I think this series means alot more to the Devils even though they've had more recent success than the Rags. F the Rangers!!!

Good point. The reality is that all goalie gear is regulated. Marty could go bigger, but bigger usually dictates slower response.
I'm so sick of listening to Eddie and Doc on the east coast! Coupled with Pierre's timely chimes, I've been toying with just streaming music during the game and fast forwarding right through Milbury's predictable garble. Unless JR and Keanon are on, we don't watch it. Seriously, do any of us need to have a diagram of when a man is open on the back door?

Seems that is due to a lack of competition. How many times is he retracting his comments these days. Quote" I'm just going to stop giving stats and concentrate on this offensive zone face off." They retired his number this year. That's like naming a memorial to you before you die.

I'm no Hunter fan, in fact I dislike him A LOT due to his play (as a player). However, giving up a big time NHL coaching job for family reasons (for real, as in to be with his family) brings him up a bunch of notches in my book.

Ironically, it seems like the Rangers are just not prepared for a really strong Devils forecheck (man that feels weird to type!)

Also, Girardi is looking like a total liability out there. Heck, he very nearly put the puck in his own net trying to make a pass between a Devil's legs.
