I've worn hockey gloves before, and I find it hard to believe that there was a break in the skin from this so called bite through the glove. Those things are pretty thick and fairly tough.

Anyway, I think the whole hubaloo surrounding this is silly. Maybe if you don't want your finger bit, keep it out the guys mouth?

Yea, I've played hockey for 16 years and am still playing. No way Bergeron got "hurt". He was actually on NHL live yesterday evening. The panel asked him how his finger was and he looked kind of embarassed that it was getting so much press. Bergeron knows it didn't hurt, and he definitely doesn't want to be considered a wuss. He was just trying to draw a call.

He whined about it to an interviewer during second intermission.

But yeah, he pretty much stuck his finger in Burrows' mouth trying to just stick his glove in his face, and it was a heat of the moment type thing. Still, it's funny that Burrows so instinctively resorts to chomping lol

Please don't defame hockey by mentioning it in the same sentence as reality TV.

Like I just did.

Damn.

Wait, I'll edit out the punctuation and caps -
then it won't be a sentence!

???

I think they've sold out every one of their home games since game one of their first season 10 years ago.

The Minnesota Wild sold out the first 409 games of their existence. That ended on September 23, 2010 when they fell nearly 2,000 seats short. I looked that up because I remembered hearing that it came to end. Not sure if they have a current streak going but they fill that place nearly every time they play.

Also, the bite was a joke. I'm glad they didn't suspend him.

It's about god damn time!!! 2-1 mothertrucker....

It's really 1-1 though. They were legally obligated to give Lucic a goal.

Don't believe me? Check the section of the Americans with Disabilities Act that deals with accommodations for the severely mentally impaired.

Such a law would not be enforced tonight unless they moved Vancouver out of Canada.

Good try, though. ;)

LOL @ Burrows.

How embarrassing for Boston... the finger chomper beats Chara and Thomas in 11 seconds...

1) not sure I'm actually going to cry
2) how is Burrows scoring "embarassing"?

Chara had a horrrrrrrrible game. He looked terrible all game.

The B's deserved to lose that game. They spend way too much time gliding around around watching the Canucks skating full speed. We'll, they're coming home now ad hopefully they're play a bit better.

I don't understand why the B's don't turn the volume up to 11 on the physical game. The effing Canucks hit someone and freakin hurt themselves. I can't remember seeing a bigger team of pansies. The B's need to exploit that.
