I brewed this batch for a fundraiser for the Chicago Chorale, so called it the Chicago Chorale Pub Ale. It won the gold medal in the specialty category at this year's Iowa Brewers Union IBU Open in Des Moines and a bronze medal at the Happy Holidays competition in St. Louis last December.

An English-style Pale Ale, brewed with English hops and yeast, with a touch of honey.

Grain Bill
7.5 lbs Pale Malt
1 lbs Munich Malt
1 lbs Wheat Malt
8 oz Caramel (20L) Malt
8 oz. Honey Malt

Hops
1 oz East Kent Goldings (5% AA) 60 min
1 oz East Kent Goldings 20 min
1 oz Challenger (6.8% AA) 5 min

Yeast and Fermentation
Windsor Yeast
Clarity Ferm
Fermented at 65F, cold crashed at 34F

Other
1 lbs honey (added towards the end of the boil)

Thanks for sharing! I've have a pound of my coworker's homemade honey sitting around waiting for a good recipe. I think this might be the one.
