I'm moving overseas into an apartment - must get rid of this awesome brewing system. $2000 or best offer (it has to go one way or another). The system's parts alone (can't count the weeks of labor put into this thing) cost more than $3000. I'm in Lacey, WA (Near Olympia) and do not intend on trying to figure out how to ship this beast anywhere. Pickup only, unfortunately.
It's a 3-vessel (Hot Liquor Tank, Mash Tun, Boil Kettle) all-stainless electric setup. The Mash Tun and Boil Kettle are 20 gallons, so a 15-gallon batch (1/2 barrel, full keg size) can easily be made. In the photo, the kettle on the left is the Hot Liquor Tank (just heats water for the sparge,) the middle kettle is the Mash Tun (note the bottom drain - it leaves ZERO wort behind after the mash, and continues to collect wort easily during boil,) and the kettle on the right is the Boil Kettle. The heat for the Mash Tun is controlled by an Auber PID using the Blichmann RIMS Rocket (includes Hops Rocket parts for hopping/hop back if you want,) and the Boil Kettle uses an Auber PID to heat the 240v Blichmann Boil Coil (20 gallon version) which provides a VERY rigorous boil if kept on maximum power. I usually have to turn the power down simply to reduce the evaporation rate.
The system also uses 2x chugger pumps for moving wort/water and maintaining temperatures. I regularly achieve 86% efficiency using this setup. It's extremely easy to use - and lots of fun. Makes incredible beer. I'm VERY sad to part with it, as I spent weeks and weeks building it several years ago. I've never had a single issue with this setup - it's a solid build.
The electric control panel requires 240v connection. I'm including the 240v GFCI outlet I use, which can easily connect to an electric control panel or other power supply near your brewing area. The 29 Foot power cord is far more than I've ever needed for brewing anywhere in or even outside of my garage. Any questions, just ask! Here's a parts list to get an idea of the cost of parts alone for this build:
