I'm currently thinking of purchasing the Cajun injector as an electric brew kettle. The roughly 7.5 gal size plus drain and temp controlled element seem like a really big plus to me for starting to make the move off the stove top.

Does anyone have any experience using this as a brew kettle? I know it will take a while to get a decent boil going but being in an apartment with hardwired appliances I don't have the ability to run a 240 line or use a preexisting one. Luckily my fiancée said I can build an actual brewroom whenever we get a house as long as I build her a dark room so I'm not looking for something to last forever just more something that will make brewing a little easier for the next year or two. Thanks in advance
