Elastic bands on grain bag

Any problem with elastic bands on a grain bag in a steep or mash?

I use butchers twine, but I don't think elastic would be an issue.

Could be made from many different materials, best bet is to keep it out of mash or boil.

Use a paint strainer bag (hardware store) and a binder clip to the side of kettle or dowel slid between handles across the top.
