I did an all grain DIPA recipe and was shooting for 1.075 but only got 1.064. I didn't have any DME on hand so I just went with it. It's been in the carboy for 30 hours or so and the krausen has started up.
My question is, what will the effect on the beer be? I'm assuming too bitter because there wasn't enough sugar to balance the bittering hops. I wanted to hear any thoughts any of you might have.
