Yep we used up a full pound of hops for each 12g batch, so a little mash hops for good measure.

Is there a specific name for the type sink sprayer you have? When looking online for one, I don't know what to search for.

The sprayer is called a "Pre-Rinse Faucet" and is probably the most expensive non-brew system single item I bought. Partly because I opted for a quality named brand sprayer, all of the poor reviews scared me off from buying a cheaper sprayer.

The sink is a Single Compartment Sink with a left hand drain board. I was lucky enough to purchase the sink brand new from a local online auction house for dirt cheap. My fermentation fridge was also found on an auction, it took several months of waiting and being outbid but you can get a good deal if your patient.

I also got the pantry faucet and table from webstaurantstore.com, I waited until they had a deal on free shipping before I ordered. Also the table came kinda banged up, I called them and got a rebate for the damage rather than have the hassle of sending it back.

How about the Hood? I've been looking for one for my electric system and have not been very happy with anything I've found so far. BTW your brew space looks great!

Thanks!

For the hood I wanted something low profile so that I would have room for a tall pot and the hoist, and it needed to have enough CFM but still low dB levels. I hated all the hoods I saw at any of the local box stores and none of them were cheap. I got it from houzz.com for $300 shipped, I've been very happy with it. I think it looks super slick and with a 6 inch exhaust vent I have no trouble venting all the steam at the second speed. At the highest speed the sounds is tolerable but I start to get some vibration noise on the wall cap. The sound of the hood at lvl2 I think is lower than the sounds from my old propane burner.

Life is sure better when you move the brewing inside. My system is decidedly "ghetto" compared to that. (But works almost the same.) Nice job.

I use a garden hose instead of the fancy sprayer and an cheap stovetop exhaust hood plus opening an window or door, for example but it sure beats brewing in the garage at 10F or 95F/90% humidity. My vessel is a keggle too.. so poor man's version of yours.

Would never recommend going back. I wish I would have never bought the propane burner. When people ask what type of burner I'll always say "water heater element".

FREAKING SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! :D I move that the entire forum show up at blagoe's place for a brew day. Who seconds the motion? :D
