Hey there!

Im currently a gas and cooler mash tun brewer and looking to convert over to eBIAB.

I would like to build my own controller for the system and have been doing a ton of research into PID's, SSR's etc. Most of the wiring Diagrams online however are for USA. Im located in New Zealand and our power runs a little differently (230V, 10A, approx 2400W). I have managed to find a 2200W element that would work but would appreciate some advice on potential circuit design for the system (to include a pump)! Installing a larger outlet isnt really an option either as im renting :)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

This design is for US 120V power, but will work equally as well on 230V Kiwi power, as long as the pump is 230V. This design will not allow the element power to be enabled unless the pump switch is on, but that can easily be changed.
