No way I would consider that without much more information. It looks like he is running a 5500w, 240v element through a 15a switch, unless he has a contactor in the box that he does not mention. Personally, the "my competitors say it's not good, but they are wrong" approach turns me off. It is also expensive, for what it looks to be.
