Maybe this is nothing new, but I have not stumbled upon anyone using these so far. I work at a car dealership and every vehicle that comes in for service has these put onto the keys. I realized how use full they could be in tracking my brews.

Cheap and easy to use. I can throw it around the neck of my BB/carboy during fermentation. With the name/date/OG and any notes I want. Then just transfer it along with the beer to my Keg, wrapping it around the handle. Easier to write on than tape and I do not have to re-write when I change containers.

I use smaller tags like that to label my kegs. After I write on them, I "laminate" them with clear packing tape.

not bad, I work at a dealership also. Maybe you could use the tags they use to mark the keys. I might try that....they have a line for....
year_____
make____
model_____
body______
color______
this might be perfect...taking some home tonight

I've been using those tags on my kegs for years. :mug:

Entries are basically like this:

batch number - brew name
brew date
kegging date
og (space) ABW%
fg (space) ABV%
notes on tasting/flavor, sometimes includes type of yeast and hops, if dry hopped so noted, etc.

I tie it to the lid wire so when in the kegerator I can hang it through the handle and read it easily.
