Anyone have an ingenious way of drying siphon hoses after they have been cleaned? Mine never seem to dry out completely and I'm slightly concerned that something might start growing in them if I let them sit too long with moisture in them. How does using an air compressor to blow out them out sound? Haven't tried it yet but it was a though I had...

It sounds like you'll be blowing nasty disgusting air through them. Air compressors do not put out clean air. Just re-rinse before use and sanitize.

+1 to not using compressed air! There is a fair amount of atomized oil particles hanging out in you compressors storage tank, not good for beer.

I just hang them upside down and try to straighten them out as best as I can. I recently bought a long dip tube brush to clean them out and seems to work really well.

A little lasso motion with them for a minute or two then hung dry. Never had an issue. Not sure I'd want to use a dip tube brush on plastic hoses...possible scratching?

spin em fast like a jump rope - anything left over should be sanitizer anyway.

no scratching so far as the diameter of the brush head prevents the rod from coming into contact with the inside of the hose. So far so good

I spin mine around in circles to get the large majority of the water out.

I did this once and managed to hit myself in the face. Not saying don't, just that I'm an idiot :)

I hang mine on the pot rack we have and let gravity work its magic.

I hang mine from a hook on the ceiling. I use a bike rack hook and have all of mine there so they can drip dry. Works very well!
