Dry hopping

When I started dry hopping I stumbled upon some wisdom that said it was OK to dry hop in the primary. I've been doing just that for many many batches of IPA's now with very good results. I let it finish in primary then pop the lid on my bucket and check gravity. Then I put the sanitized hop bag in there for a week. At bottling I check the gravity again and, with clean sanitized hands, I pull out the dry hop bag and squeeze all of those hop juices out. Then I proceed with bottling as usual.

No time wasted transferring to secondary... or clean-up needed either! Easy Peezy ( ;
