You can dry hop in your primary. Rule of thumb is make sure fermentation is complete before doing so.

but yeah, what he said. You /can/, just make sure the vigorous fermentation is done first or the CO2 venting will carry away all your aroma too.
 
I dry hopped my last IPA in primary. I waited 2 weeks to make sure fermentation was done, threw the hop bag in and left it in for another week. It came out excellent.
 
I have bought into the no longer using a secondary except for fruit and things, but dry hopping to me is just easier in the primary.
