Dry hopping - what to do with an extra ounce of Cascade

So here's the deal: I find myself with one extra package of cascade hop pellets, and I'm considering the following two options:

1) Combine with 1 oz Chinook to dry hop my Chinook IPA kit from NB (other additions were 1 oz @60 mins, 1 oz @10 mins, and 1 oz @1 min - all Chinook)
2) Combine with 2 oz Cascade to dry hop my Houblon Chouffe clone (other additions were 1 oz Magnum @60 mins, 1 oz Saaz @15 mins, 1 oz Cascade @15 mins, 1 oz Saaz @5 mins, and 1 oz Cascade @5 mins)

Questions - anyone see any concern dry hopping Cascade and Chinook together? Also, is 3 oz of Cascade too much for dry hopping? The Houblon Chouffe clone is a pretty big beer (OG was 1.087), so maybe it can handle it? How would you use the extra 1 oz of Cascade pellets?

If you care about style, the Cascade is probably a better addition to the IPA than the Chouffe. Chinook and Cascade should be great together! Both straight ahead IPA hops in my book. For dry hopping you don't really have to worry about "too much". Many of us would say you can't have too much dry hop. That hop nose is a happy thing.
 
Just my opinion, if you made an all Chinook IPA I think it would be a shame to ruin the title of a single hop beer. I would go with the second option since I think there can never be too much dry hopping. Or maybe you could make hop infused vodka https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f14/infusing-vodka-gin-hops-292414/ I thought it was a really cool thing to make and hop martinis are awesome.
 
I brewed the Chinook IPA kit last weekend and I could have sworn my hop schedule was different. I just dry hopped with 1oz of Chinook as well.

Regardless, if you don't care that it's not a single hop IPA, throw in the extra hops for dry hopping. If you kind of want to keep it single hop to get the full effect of a single hop IPA, then I'd recommend option 3.

3) Store in the freezer until the next hoppy brew.
 
SkipperNC, You're correct - I changed the hop schedule a bit from what the recipe calls for.

Leaning towards adding it to the Chouffe clone.

Always a possibility.

In my experience, you get a lot more bang for your buck by mixing your dry hops. I like Amaretto/Perle/Cascade for that tooth enamel stripping grapefruit.

Here's hoping the Chinook IPA is a good brew. To be honest, it doesn't matter to much for me here, it's hot out on the lake, and it will hit the spot, regardless of good or not. :)

I regularly dry hop Cascade and Chinook togethet, as well as Columbus in my American Pale Ale. It makes for a fantastic aroma. I highly recommend this combination.
