Hey guys - just a quick query. I sanitised two hop socks and then rinsed them before wringing out, filling with hops and suspending them in my primary, post fermentation.

This is my usual routine however this time it produced a small amount of foam?

Looks fine but not seen it before so thought id see whether anyone else knows if it's harmful to the beer?

When a beer is done fermenting there is some residual co2 left in solution. You just disturbed that and caused a bit of foam. The real question is why did you rinse AFTER you sanitized? That doesn't make any sense.

Good to hear it's normal! I don't sanitise with star san so usually have to rinse off the sanitiser I use. At least that's what a home brewing buddy told me!

its kind of like adding sugar or candy to soda (if you ever did that as a kid.) It gives the co2 a point to come out of solution on and then create a bubble.
