dry hopping and cold crashing

It can be, but you are better off dry hopping at warmer temps. Hop oils extract faster at warmer temps, and slower at cool temps. You can cold crash before or after your dry hop, I would just recommend letting the hops sit in the beer around room temp for your given length.

There are plenty of people on this forum that will also dry hop in their serving kegs, and they do it with success.
