Will this kill the beer? Its a plastic spoon that is now slightly disfigured. The boil had only been going for about 3 minutes and I had past the hot break. Just took me a 2 minutes to get it out of the pot...

I wouldn't worry about it. IF any plastic did get leached out, I'm sure it's in such trace amounts that you won't be able to notice.

haha. I have been AG brewing for about 8mo and some have turned out better. This is a strong ale that ages really great...
