i got to drive about 100 miles to pour a corny for a competition. never done this. was thinking about putting the corny in a igloo cooler with ice and putting it in the backseat. obviously unhooking the co2, but leaving the co2 in the keg and not bleeding. sound legit? any advice?

Treat it as a big bottle. Hopefully you don't have much yeast in the bottom of the keg.

If you cold crashed your beer and didn't get much yeast in the keg, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Otherwise, you'll hook it up and draw a pint or two that look like milk with all the yeast roused up lol

Just give it time to settle when you get there. I have done this. My keg usually has carbed in the fridge for at least two weeks and it takes about an hour for the yeast to settle back down. YMMV. Pun intended.

You don't need a whole cooler for it either. A bucket with ice water in the bottom half is fine. Keep the keg stable so it's not bouncing around much. As mentioned, let it settle, cold preferrably, once you arrive. Prepare to pour-off the first pint.
