I have just acquired my first keezer. I can hold 2 sixtel kegs, right now i only have one running because i plan to make modifications to it. I plan to build a collar for the chest freezer and moving the tap thats already mounted from the side of the freezer/keezer to the front on the collar. I thought it was odd that the previous owner driller into the freezer and mounted the tap on the side of the freezer instead of the front.

I am on a college dollar, and was just wondering what options i had for drip trays. Ive been doing a lot of research and can't make my mind up.

Any suggestions?

Look at Barsupplies.com or Homebrewstuff.com for any commercial trays they usually have good prices. If you want to DIY one from the hardware store try a tin dry wall tray or wall paper tray.

I've thought about using end caps for PVC pipes and some Shower drain covers to go over them, but it didn't work out. I currently have a small towel on the floor under my taps.

I really should keep my eyes open for a better, more unique idea. The plastic or metal dry wall tray is a really cheap and useful idea, but I'm afraid it will only remind me of all of the hours I spent doing drywall in my house. Depressing! ;)

Here is a dirt simple idea and works for the time being...
