I am interested in converting a 4.4 cu ft Magic Chef which did not have a the freezer attachement into a kegerator. I bought a 3 tap tower aready and pulled the top off to check it out. . I felt of it and it doesn't seem too hot on top at all so I am thinking that the coils may all be around the sides.

Any ideas?

I think that's the best you can do without a diagram. There may still be some wires up there, so proceed with caution. Searching this forum may yield some past conversions and you might search youtube to see if anyone has posted their build. Good luck.

I'd start with a small pilot hole through the liner, use a thin probe to check for anything inside, then gradually expand the hole until it's wide enough to visualize the surrounding area...

Cheers!

I recently destroyed a freezer conversion. Even after probing, I have NEVER, in all the conversions I’ve done, found an ultra tiny Freon line in the side that went NOWHERE! 😫
