So i saw some dried orange slices at the groc store the otherday all there grain and nuts dried fruit ect was 50% off so i picked up 4 oz alkng with some spelt iats snd red wheat. Has any one ever used dried slices i figure its simalar to peel but has a bit of dried fruit on it. Think i should add some to the spelt saison im gonna do?

Citrus flavor/aroma is derived from oils in the peel (actually the zest), not from the fruit. You won't get much from the fruit I'm afraid.

I'm not sure how you're planning to use them, but the one time I boiled oranges they wound up horribly bitter and without much in the way of other flavors.

So you might consider an IPA if you're going that route :p
