Has anyone used these sour cherries in a stout?

We're planning on brewing a 5Gal batch with both extract & grain {aiming for a good chocolate/cherry balance} ... This is our third time brewing so we'd love some feedback, particularly about the timing on the cherry addition {wort or primary}. Thanks!

Upon further research, we've decided to rack on top of the dried cherries (as a purée) in secondary - if anyone is interested or curious how this brew turns out, we'll keep you posted!

Definatly, keep us posted, sounds interesting...

As a warm, flat brew .... this one tastes amazing! Should be carbonated and good to go in ten days! Experimentation has paid off.
