I stopped in at Keystone Homebrew near Philly to pick up a bucket of wine grape juice, and was shocked to hear that California CabSav was $92/bucket.
Some other varieties were $86+/bucket. Whole grape prices are up too, a 36 lb box of cab/sav grapes was $59, some varieties were more, up to $65.
I'm used to paying about $60/bucket for juice and maybe $1 +/- a pound for grapes. I left with a bucket of Italian white grape juice for $66. .So now I'm thankful a local grower sells for about $1/pound (hybrid PA grapes).
Anyone else notice an increase in grape prices like this?
