Second batch ever. Good carbonation, head retention and great flavor. Overall very satisfied with my work. Feels good to pour a tall one and take in all the work I done. CHEERS!!

Looks great. What are the IBU's on that? Also, I have those same type E-Z cap bottles; they are awesome.

Total IBU's roughly 110. Ya love the bottles. Can imagine capping that many bottles manually. Cheers!!

capping is a breeze, its the cleaning, sanitizing and filling of the bottles that is the PIA!

Was this a kit or your recipe? It looks yummy, I'm interested to know what's in it!

Got the recipe from a local brew shop. Didn't do the dry hop and prolly should have

11# light liquid malt extract
Steeped: 1/2# 20L dark crystal malt

1.5oz galena hops 60mins
3oz crystal hops 60mins
2.5oz crystal hops 15 mins
2oz crystal hops 1 mins
Optional dry hop w/ 4oz crystal hops

Fermented with white labs California ale yeast

Got a OG of 1.075 and ended with about 1.010

Would definitely recommend a yeast starter as well as a blow of tube. Oxygenate wort a lot before pitching yeast. Happy brewing :)

Wow... 4oz dry hop. What a load of aroma that woulda been! Next time, eh? I'm sure it's still tasty tho!
