So I am brewing my first Cider ever, and I noticed a bit of discoloration/white substance mixed in with the yeast in the bottom of my fermenter (pic below)

Notice the white coloration mixed in with the yeast. I didn't use anything that would give it that coloration, so I just wanted to check with everyone here to ensure this wasn't an infection? I took a peak on the top of the cider and didn't notice an infection on top, so I am not sure if this is normal or not.

My gosh, that looks terrible! There is this huge Grey growth on top and that bright red fungus appearing to the right of the grey growth. On the bottom, there is a defined fractal pattern forming.

Can't relly tell anything from the trub. Maybe tell us about the process? Pressed fruit or store juice? What yeast? A pic of the top - is a pellicle forming? How does it taste/smell?

Heh, I knew that was coming.

I used juice from the store (it was pasteurized). I also used the same equipment I normally would use when I brew my beer. I took the same sanitary steps that i've used in the past. Anything that touched the cider was first soaked in Star san, including the conical fermenter.

I took a peak through the air lock hole on top, and saw no pellicle forming (yet). I didn't provide a picture of that because I didn't want to expose the cider to O2 and open the top. The cider looked similar to how it did when I first started it, just a tad lighter.

I haven't tasted it yet as I'm only on D7 and it's still fermenting. But I can if you think it's necessary.
 
Based on the provided info, I think you are fine. RDWHAHB.

If the juice was cloudy to begin, you probably have a pretty high amount of trub (for lack of a better word).

If temp is constant, I don't think I would bother doing anything beside ensure the airlock is full for the next 7-10 days.Then consider a transfer, gravity check and a taste.
