Does this braid look ok?

I replaced my old braid with a hot water heater braid this weekend since i destroyed it with my mash paddle. This new one is definitely not as long as the old one. Does this look like it will be ok? This is my 10 Gallon cooler and i batch sparge.

Looks fine. The ragged end will get you when you clean it.

Thanks. Yeah, i wasnt sure what to do about the end. There is a plug in there and the cut wires are just hanging around.

You can actually fold the frayed end back inside the braid, then push the plug back in.
