does hopsdirect run out fast.

I've noticed a few hops at HD and other sites are out of stock how fast do bulk sites usually run out? Or is this common?

I'm on the fence about a couple but dont want to have too much on hand.

Never had a problem with them not having what I want. But, invest in a vacuum sealer and your in business.

+1 to the vacuum sealer, especially with leaf hops. i vacuum seal mine and keep them in the freezer, and i use hopsdirect. they run out this time of year pretty fast, as a lot of us are using our christmas gift cards for hops

There has been some talk that there may be shortages this year of the popular aroma hops as the harvest wasn't great and there are more breweries each year looking for specific varieties (Simcoe/Amarillo/Citra etc...). So the sooner you order the better, it's the same harvest of hops you’ll get if you order in a couple months anyway.
