I ve just read the whole thread and I only have a question: why do you guys/girls are wasting your time with this?... I think we are here to learn and help and get help when needed... I am certain that nobody can assume that they own the truth but if you ask for advise, at least, be kind enough to listen... if somebody is so sure about their conclusions why to ask advice? I think there is a lot of people inlove with the sound of their own voice... just let them be and stop wasting your time

Also, that hop utilization from a boil with no extract will be laughable.

Why? I can't imagine why hop utilization would suffer, but I've never actually tested the IBUs in a hops tea.

That is a very small minded and immature response. If you want to be treated with respect and as a member of this forum, I suggest you grow up a bit.
