A simple step by step set of instructions for making a batch of AG brew?

What exactly do I mean by this? Well, I've resolved to take the plunge in 2007 and try all grain brewing. I've been brewing extract with grains for over a year and a half now and all this time have been reading everything I can on AG brewing. I suspect perhaps it's just one of those things that I'll have to learn by doing, but still, here is my frustration: no where can I seem to find a simple "do this, do that next, then do this" recipe for making a first all grain batch. Everything I read gives all sorts of options and says that people can't agree about how to sparge or whether to give a protein rest or there are many ways to do such and such... etc. Just tell me what to do! I can worry about other things the second batch I brew.

The same seems to hold true for building equipment: well, you can do this or you can do that, or many people suggest this, but there are problems with that... I'm going to handle that, though, by going to my LHBS. The guy there says he has a basic setup involving a cooler you purchase from Home Depot. I think I'll just try his way with the equipment, but I sure could use some help with a basic set of instructions to follow.

If you buy pretty much anything from Midwest Homebrew Supply, they offer a free DVD where they explain in detail while they actually do a batch.
