Does anyone else go through phases?

For instance right now, I can not get enough Weiss beer into me. This in itself is kind of odd, i didnt like hef for a while, then it just grew on me. My phase before this was nothing but IPA and malty bocks.

I'm just curious if im alone in this insanity or if there are others like me.

Varies dramatically depending on time of year, season, weather, etc. For a long time I was a huge fan of weiss. Still a fan, just not as much.

Been mostly onto IPA's recently.

Ive been on a Lambic kick lately...can't get enough of that stuff. Belgians always pull me back though. As for IPAs :cross::cross: If i want something bitter I can always look at my tax "return"

I'm in a Belgian phase currently. I couldn't stand Belgian beer until my wife and I went there and had good ones. Too bad since I have the ingredients for 5 more batches of non-Belgian stuff still to be brewed. There are a lot of poorly fermented Belgian style beers here in the states.

I have progressively moved from pales to ipa's and on into iipa's to iiipa's... imperials etc.. and I used to just HATE belgiums. Now my taste buds are taking a u-turn and I now don't really care for the super iiipa's digressing back to pales and now I LOVE belgiums. It is wonderful and dangerous at the same time though. Now that I have tried and killed just about everything ipa, now I am taking the expensive quest down belgium avenue. Also have developed a recent inclination to collect and age rare stouts...damn-it. My taste buds are so confused right now, I am having a difficult time deciding what I am going to brew next!

I go through phases. right now I'm on a German lager phase. previously it was a stout and porter phase,and before that an IPA and Pale Ale phase.

I spent all last summer brewing wheat beers. This year has shaped up to be a steady string of Ryes. I think I'm just trying to see how one ingredient can affect beers differently.
