Do homebrewers smoke?

Do you smoke?

I usually have 1-2 cigarettes per day, more when I'm drinking. I can polish off a pack during a weekend if I'm drinking a bunch and I'm around other smokers. Makes me feel like ****, tho. I would have to quit drinking to quit smoking, I think.
 
I quite enjoy smoking, but it is expensive, stinks, ruins my taste buds and ruins my lungs. Therefor I tend to keep it down to five or six packs of lucky strikes a year.
 
I smoke, I enjoy it too much. Everytime I try to quit I do really good for a few days and then I start smoking a pack a day. Thinking about grabbing some camel studs and smoking them all in one night.......hopefully my lungs will hurt so bad the next day I won't want to smoke :p

Doesn't sound like a good idea:cross:

Tried that before, just made me want to smoke good cigarettes the next day.

I smoke (a little too much), but I'm trying to cut back. I figure if I can cut it down to 1 or 2 cigs a day, I'll be able to quit without too much trouble.
 
Cigarretes taste like dogsh*t!

All I can say is for those of you that smoke, you might as well build an extra room for your oxygen cylinders cuz when you are 60ish-80ish you will need 2liters a minute just to survive on a daily basis.

Hope it is worth the taste.

Nope. Never have, and have no desire to. Lost all my grandparents that way.
 
I started smoking when I was 9, I was probably doing at least 10 cigs a week in my early teens, and had a full blown habit by the time i was 15. I turned 30 this year and have not had a ****aret sine the 20th of september. I refuse to go back to smoking, I only hope that I will be around later in life for my 2 year old son.

Smoking is not a joke, for all of those who still do,STOP!

The odds are that I at a minimum will develop emphysema, if I am LUCKY I avoid the small cell cancer.
 
No. Unless being around a campfire counts. I live a fairly healthy, active lifestyle. Beer is bad enough for excess calories, but it tastes so good. Cigarettes taste and smell vile.
 
I drink, I smoke, I read forbidden books, I don't vote, I play in a hard-rock band, I've been arrested (more than once), I eat meat, I had sex with unknown girls (more than once), I always arrive late to work, I love swearwords, I don't have a TV, I brew every two weeks, I never go to church, I have long hair and a leather jacket, I had lots of fun with my Ouija, I drink coffe, I used to juggle with fire and play vinils backwards. I've traveled without a ticket all over Europe sleeping in plublic places. I've been to Marocco and Holland (talking about smoking) and I took photos inside a museum. I've been examinated by a psychiatrist. I think the most elegant guy here is Deathbrewer. I tryed cactus to open some "doors", and grown some plants wich look like hops. I first met my cat in a dumpster and my dog outside a restaurant.

So... if I'm still alive... and free...

lol...wow...you just described my life...except for the elegant part, of course :D
 
Aside from the lung cancer, the emphysema, and the smelly clothes, how can you taste anything with the smoking? I like the taste of my food and beer alot more now that NY has banned smoking in public.
 
Pipe and cigars.

I used to do an occasional clove for shvts and giggles. (Don't tell anyone but I've still got half a pack in the garage fridge.)

And then there is the rare medicinal puff.
 
Smoke too much, drink too much, wife is too young, spend too much time in the sun, love porn, hate moderation, and am having a great ****in time. Will die from something totally unrelated to it all. i'll then donate my body to science fiction and want to be buried with both hands giving the finger to the living. Kiss my ass world, and its been one hell of a ride!!!

^yes you can smoke hops. apparently, according to a hippie i talked to on the subject, they will give you a really restful sleep if smoked before sleepy time.
anyway back on topic, yes like a chimney. I started smoking and chewing in rural tennessee growing up (around twelve or thriteen years old). I am now 27, kicked the chewing habit years ago, but still smoke a pack a day. I can't taste alot of food anymore, but for some reason I am still able to pick subtle flavors and nuances out of beer... go figure
 
Cigars and meat.
I try to only smoke cigars when I'm on vacation or brewing.
Luckily I get 7 weeks of vacation a year.
 
My girlfriend once asked me if I ever smoked after sex. I told her I never checked. Now we are married, so I suppose I do.
 
My wife and I agreed only to smoke after sex. I haven't smoked since and she is up to a pack a day!
