Looking up some stats on different beers, I've noticed that a lot of commercial beers have pretty low FGs with around 80% attenuation. A lot of these beers still have a fair amount of residual sweetness and do not taste dry at all. I've just been wondering if backsweetening is a common commercial brewery practice in filtered beers.
