DME vs Corn Sugar

I have an extra pound of DME left over from my recipe. Would I have any real benifit from using DME for carbonation vs. corn sugar?
 
No real benefit. You can have the bragging rights of all malt, but it seems to take a little bit longer to carb up if you use *ME instead of corn sugar.

If you have both feel free to experiment, or keep the *ME for making beer, leave pretty bubbles to the corn sugar.
 
Thanks guys. I used some of it to make a starter and then used the rest for the batch. Sorry recipe :)
