I just want to confirm that Light DME is ok for priming/carbing. I've been searching all over and reading that, yes, it is and that there's apparently the chance of smaller bubbles but at the cost of a longer carbing time. I'm just afraid, since it's light, that it won't carb up like it should.

Thanks in advance

Yes it will work, as will corn sugar, table/cane sugar, honey...why do you prefer DME. Not sure the benifits outweigh the cons...cost, wait etc.

Light, dark amber, that really is just color, not amount of fermentability. A pound light, amber or dry extract all has the same gravity. So it has the same amount of sugar regardless of color.
