I made an immersion chiller from 3/8" copper tubing, some plastic tubing and a fitting that is female garden hose on one end with a 3/8" hose barb on the other. Bought everything at Home Depot, total cost about $30. I followed some of the videos on youtube and it took maybe 15 minutes to bend the tubing and complete assembly. I used a pot from the cabinet that is about 1/2 the diameter of my brew pot the bend the coil around. Used it for the 1st time today, Holy Moly! If you don't have one build one. My wort went from boiling to yeast pitching temperature in maybe 15 minutes. Much less time that using ice in the sink!
