Here's the chiller I built this weekend... it cooled my wort down to 80 degrees in a little under 10 minutes... a family member donated 50ft of copper and I bought a few fittings from home depot... it cost me less that $5 and works better than I could have thought....

Artist formerly known as catfish: Buy 50 feet of copper and make two chillers. You'll be glad you have pre-chiller when the ground water warms up!

Making a second prechiller would probably have been a good idea... maybe I can get another spool of copper for in a few months...
