I just wanted to show off my carboy carrier that I made last week. I used it for the first time on Thursday when I transferred my Black Raspberry Melomel to secondary. One picture shows the tools I used and what little waste I had. I just wish I had written down the lengths I used. It's made from 550 paracord.

Nicely done.
Does that ring on the bottom clear? I'm not familiar with those particular carboys. Is there a recess to accommodate that metal ring?

Yes, I made it, mainly, for a Mountain Valley Spring Water carboy that I use for Secondary. It sits solid and doesn't rock. The Fermonsters, I use for Primary, have a fairly deep punt on the bottom.

I really wish I could remember how I calculated the lengths I needed, so I could make another one.
