Hi there,

I am having an issue with one of my posts and I think it may be the poppet, but I'd appreciate any other feedback before I go out and purchase a replacement.

When I tighten the liquid post on one of my kegs, the disconnect will not attach.

The disconnect attaches to the post no problem if I unscrew the post from the keg and remove the poppet from the post.

It attaches no problem if I put in the popet and then only slightly screw the post onto the keg.

As I tighten the post further, the disconnect becomes difficult to attach.

If I fully tighten the post, the disconnect can attach with me pushing down REALLY hard, but then no fluid/gas can get through the disconnect.

Any ideas?

Thanks!!

Is the poppet in the other post the same size and shape? If not, maybe they got swapped when cleaning...

I just tried switching the poppet from one post to the other. Now the issue has transferred to the gas line. So I'm guessing it is the poppet.

Arg, at least it's a cheap replacement!
