What are VIP forums? Apparently only the premium users have them.

And why is this forum ****? I haven't seen anything unsafe yet.

The site is primarily for beer making and beer related issues for those of legal drinking age.
Drunken Ramblings and Mindless Mumbling just happens to be the dark corner of the pub. **** is not neccessarily the focus, but it might happen.

I will put in a plug for supporting this site. I frequent a lot of other forums on this here interweb, and this is the only one I've ever paid for.

I figure if it saves me from ruining one batch of beer, that's the price of admission right there. And believe me, there's a TON of information on here, and as a new brewer it has saved a batch or two of mine already.

Plus, I'm on here a lot, so I figure I should chip in for the bandwidth

I don't see much that is **** in this forum, but if someone wants to ramble a bit and be a little off-color, that's why this is marked that way.

The VIP forums are just for the paid members, as an added "thank you" to supporting the board. I think I joined as a "regular" member and then paid for a membership within a week, because I learned more here in a week than I did in any other book!

Same here, it's been worth every penny and when my gold membership expires I'm going to lifetime.

I don't think so- I think the recipes are for everyone. I think the only VIP stuff is...well, you know, the VIP stuff.

EDIT : Shout out to FifeLee!!! Goto the Westernbar (in the Grassmarkert) for a bit *cough* and then the pub across the road (if there are pooltables with sheets of wood on top on them stay!)

I think I made about 20 post before I joined, worth every penny, not to mention I am of an elite club (for now anyway) I think I was one of the last ones to get a platinum membership

I think that we may have a jump in membership with this thread.
