Hello! I just bought a digital temperature controller to connect my fridge to so I can have controlled fermentation. However I'm having a hard time trying to understand the wiring. Attached is a photo of the terminals, maybe someone with electrical knowledge can help!

Thanks!

110VAC hot (black) wire from your power source should connect to terminal 9 (for internal power) and terminals 7 & 8 (for power to the two relays).

110VAC neutral (white) wire from your power source should connect to terminal 10, and to the neutral side of the outlet for the fridge (silver screws).

Then, connect terminals 3 & 4 to the hot side of the fridge outlet (brass screws).

Finally, connect the safety ground (green) wire from your power source to the ground terminal on the fridge outlet.

Cheers!

The 220v ac printed on the lower right side may be a concern. If it does not power up or operate properly you may have a unit made for overseas power that is 220v on one hot wire. If it does not work you may be able to desolder the transformer from the circuit board and solder the wires for a 12v power supply on the board.

This unit is actually built to operate between 85 and 250vac...

Cheers!

Thanks day_trippr! You just made my day. I'll set up my fermentation fridge this weekend!
