Did I just ruin my keg

So I cleaned my lines and all for the first time after having been through 2-3 kegs.... I closed tank valve and closed the shut off valve on the regulator on C02 and released any air in the line so pressure gauge went back to zero......

After I was done cleaning, and putting parts back on, By accident I adjusted the spinning + - regulator nut on the co2 tank (tightened it or loosened it all the way) so therefore didn’t know if having that regulator all the way tightened was at zero or very high pressure setting :/

I went and bought a new keg, tapped the keg, slowly turned the tank valve on top of the c02 tank (the shutoff valve lever was still closed at this time) and I heard a loud hiss and the gauge jumped to like 60....I then closed the tank valve and pulled the pressure relief pin on the regulator to release that pressure...clearly I had the regulator nut opened to much. Once I realized that, I tightened regulator nut all the way in, and slowly turned tank valve, with no noise or anything, then opened the shutoff valve to allow pressure to keg and adjusted regulator nut accordingly......and now the pressure gauge is at its usual 11psi

Did that initial burst ruin or go into my keg even though the shutoff valve was fully closed still, or am I over thinking it??? Was it just cuz I had the regulator nut all the way up and the burst went no where, even though the pressure gauge read 60???? I hope I’m fine

You didn’t ruin your keg. If anything the regulator maybe but you said it’s holding 11 lbs. the regulator and keg will have a prv and you might have triggered it. I thought kegs prv was like 120/130.

fwiw, Cornelius style kegs were typically rated for ~130 psi max working pressure and were equipped with PRVs typical rated for a max of 100 psi (though the actual release pressures ranged anywhere from 60 to 90 psi)...
