I am making my first batch of wine. And, I can't get my batch to degass.
How much does temp affect degassing?. Does temp also affect sp gravity?
the sp Gravity read 0.992 but when I test for gas it blows the stopper off my hydrometer test jar. i used a warming strap for the primary fermentation but since transferring to the carboy the I've had a difficult time keeping the temp at the suggested level. Any Suggestions?
