Didn't know that. And yes, I've had plenty of low ABV hoppy beers from the UK which were great. Especially The Kernel but also Beavertown and Brew by Numbers beers I've had have almost all been very good.

Reviews were good so I might've just had a bad bottle. It was thicker than most imperial stouts, extremely sweet, and had a very weird bitterness from the wood that ruined the whole thing for me. One of the worst beers I've ever had.
