Off Color Aqua Predator

Wet hopped Apex Predator with Crystal hops from MI

Grassy. Clove. Black Pepper. Flat.

While the above picture shows a rich full head, it dissipated quickly and left a beer lacking bite. I enjoyed the earthy / grassy character from the wet hops, but the lack of carbonation on this bottle was off putting.

Oh the Cubs also won the NL Pennant and made it to the World Series for the first time since 1945.

That was cool.

Cherries for a nightcap. Big and sweet cherries up front, woody tart finish that dries out nicely.

After drinking all evening I decided to root around my wine fridge, and discovered that the cooler is condensing water, dripping, and making a couple bottles moldy despite the silica beads I use to moderate humidity. Naturally I had to open a bottle to make sure it's OK.

Yep, this is drinking swimmingly (2014 batch).
