Thanks DenverBeerDrinker, this is great. I tend to find a lot of stone fruit beers have a gassy smell to them, but this one just smells like peaches. I need to send you some Trillium at some point.

MarkIntihar left these at my place a month back or so as part of a tasting we didn't get around to consuming, so for science I'll be going through them with folks over the next few weeks.

Tonight's choice was the Kuhnhenn Triple Rice IPA (TRIPA) from 2015.

Oxidized. Toffee. Caramel. Sweet.

Well while the 4 word description doesn't sound great, this was actually pretty tasty. Oxidized hop aroma isn't very off putting, and the malt character has rounded into a toffee / caramel / biscuity character reminiscent of English Old Ale. Bitterness is pretty faded and tends toward sweetness, fair carbonation and pretty good overall. Was much better in the first few months after it's release, but I'm still pretty impressed with this as one of the last great "new" Kuhnhenn ideas.
