On my way to the bank and then I decided to stop at Other Half.

We’ve Been Out There in Orbit with coffee, coconut and macadamia nuts.
And Supermuscioni Extra Fancy - Italian style pils.

I couldn't be more pleased to see this:
A.) In regular distro
B.) In a smaller format
C.) Tasting entirely on par with previous vintages

Brownie batter to the absolute max. This is my favorite kind of BA stout. It's super flavorful and rich without an overwhelming sweetness. It's on the thicker side, but not oily or too sticky. Flavors of cocoa powder, marshmallow, lots of fudge... sort of a chocolate liqueur thing going on I suppose. And the barrel is just perfect here. The mellow heat of the booze really compliments the dessert flavors while the (unusually prevalent) oak character cleans up the finish. What a dandy.

i wasn’t gonna drink tonight but i noticed beer has been keeping me from getting sick :D

Stellar year after year and still manages to be one of the most underrated beers in the country IMO.

damn now i’m super confused, so instagram makes zero mention of smaller format and dirsto, and bottles are released on the 19th and they look like 750s...

scotch sounds insterestinf tho

Haha I wish I had all the deets for ya. I knew they were still doing a taproom release, which is the only place you can get the scotch variant. But I just happened to see that 12oz '19 on the shelf yesterday.
