Pretty sure the 1st one is from June. That new stoopid is fresh though. They just started putting those in 6ers
Citrus is 348 6 2 so I think it is 12/14/16 Chicago for the 2 at the end.
Stoopid is 351 6 2 so 12/17/16 Chicago.
It seems both are fairly fresh, at least for my destro area. I prefer the Stoopid.

Just drinkin' IPAs...

Transient Crunchy Groove and Honeystone

Crunch Groove: Citrus. Pine. Smooth. Drinkable.

Honeystone: Harsh. Garlic. Boozy. Rich.

Well I think it's obvious which beer I prefer, but they are both a few weeks older than they should have lasted. I'm a huge fan of the Crunch Groove while the Honeystone just had a hop profile that I wasn't a fan of and had too much residual sweetness to make it more than a one and done.

Cheers!

Nope. Definitely get what was intended. Love key lime pie, but this is a
raw

Certain Short's beers (This, Strawberry Short Cake, anything with peanuts, etc...) always need to be consumed as fresh as humanly possible, and if they were stored warm before you got them Godspeed. Trying these beers on draft is where it's really at though as they are so much better than their packaged counterparts.

I'm very happy to have tried this beer, thanks landrewg, and I definitely get the key lime pie including the crust. I actually have to say it's very well made and give props to the brewery for this as it is perfect key lime pie. It's just not something I want to drink when trying to get drunk.

Agree and agree to disagree. I really like SSC and KLP with a little age on them. If they were stored warm-mine were not-then might as well drain pour. Short's on tap is always the best.
