Hey guys.
So, after reading all the Danby kegerator build threads, I decided I'm gonna try building my own.
I got a DAR044A5BSLDD fridge from Costco.
After unpacking it at home, i noticed I couldn't fit 2 corny kegs without cutting into the fridge door. I don't really want to cut into the fridge right now, so right now I'm gonna put a small 2.5 gal corny keg on the shelf and the 5 gal keg as far away from the door axis as possible. However, in this setup, i don't have room to fit the CO2 tank and regulator.
The solution I came to was drilling a hole for a shank in the back shelf (next to the driptray). I'm still not so sure it's safe to drill there though, so the question is, does anyone know if there are cooler lines running through the back shelf i might hit? and if so, is it safer to stick to the back of shelf or towards the front?
That way I can pass all my CO2 through the shank and the tank would sit outside the fridge.

Any ideas?
(cutting into the fridge door and sides is my least favorable option right now

thanks!
